The kitchen that grows together with the home
Railway Kitchen is the result of our passion for building art, design, and craft. Here, modern lines are combined with classic references in a timeless whole that suits both the turn-of-the-century apartment and the newly built house.
The style is based on a form language where the fronts are framed with marked cover panels that run all the way to the floor, wall, or ceiling – like the rails on a railway, hence the name. This creates a feeling of integrity and precision, and brings to mind something architectural and lasting rather than modular.

All Railway Kitchen modules and doors/sliding doors are made by skilled craftsmen here in Sweden. We use oak of the finest quality, carefully bandsawing whole planks or veneer and gently finishing to preserve a natural brightness in the oak that will last for many years to come. It is a time-consuming task but yields a wonderfully unique result.

Railway Kitchen is based on IKEA's Metod frames but takes the kitchen to a whole new level with our tailored fronts, cover sides, plinths, and options. You get a solution that is both flexible and long-lasting – adapted to your home and your style.
