Crafts and design since 2013
We started Bucks and Spurs in 2013 with the ambition and drive to create a new brand that offers products with a sense of beautiful craftsmanship in materials that inspire and surprise in both idea and form and that have a story to tell. Over the years, the brand has changed and today our main focus is kitchens.
After running an advertising agency for many years, the idea of creating something new arose and the challenge for us was to take the step into a completely new industry. We started this at Karlavägen 58 with a store and showroom. Shortly afterwards, we launched Railway Kitchen in 2013, a new kitchen concept in collaboration with architect Michael Pietsch. A lot of effort and time was put into finding really talented craftsmen and carpenters to be able to deliver the kitchens and our other products. Quality and a high standard in everything has been important to us from the start. Railway Kitchen was received fantastically by both the press and customers. In a short time, our kitchen was published and mentioned in many interior design magazines. We were proud and incredibly happy when Railway Kitchen was awarded Kitchen of the Year 2015 at the Elle Decoration Swedish Design Awards and later also a nice nomination for the Gold Chair at the Architecture Gala.

Since 2019, we have been delighted to produce wooden doors adapted for IKEA frames – a solution requested by many of our customers. We saw an opportunity to combine IKEA's smart and functional frames with our passion for solid craftsmanship and sustainable materials. By offering high-quality wooden doors for IKEA Metod, we have made it possible to create unique and exclusive kitchens, where Scandinavian design and carpentry tradition are at the center.
Be inspired and discover the possibilities with us.
Each door is crafted with great care in our Swedish carpentry workshops, where we focus on highlighting the natural beauty of the wood and creating a durable product with a long lifespan. Our design series make it easy to adapt the kitchen to your style – whether you prefer a warm, classic expression or a more modern and minimalist look.
